Our Ferrari 250 GT PF Garage Find

We had a recent amazing garage find experience.  The opportunity was first introduced to our restoration partner Carl Steuer of Blackhorse Motorsports who brought 8912™ in to partner on the opportunity. The introduction came through a client with whom Carl had been doing business with for many years. The Client had said a few months prior to our learning about the Ferrari that a friend of his wife’s had a husband with Cancer and would be leaving an extensive car collection behind; Including a very valuable Ferrari.

It was clear that the Ferrari was the unfortunate product of a gentleman who began a restoration, but was too sick or weak to finish the car.

The Ferrari was in fact a Ferrari 250 PF Cabriolet, but we noticed side vents on the front fender of the car indicating that it could be an “SP” or Speciale. This Ferrari 250 PF Cabriolet is one of 200 example ever built and according to the guide, is 1 of 8 “SP” of only 4% of the 250’s ever built. This Ferrari is all “matching #s” and original color of blue.

Other cars we secured in this garage find:

1967 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow
1947 Silver Wrath James Young Saloon Coach Built
1966 Jaguar XKE Roadster
1956 Austin Healy “100”/BN1 Roadster
…and 4 classic bikes.

8912™ with Blackhorse Motorsports will perform a “Concours” level restoration and will be entering the car into Pebble Beach for display/judging in the Summer of 2019.
